EXTENSION CABLES
PFD Systems now offers extension cables
for those applications requiring additional distance between the KIWI-OSD and GPS units (observatory owners take note). The cables
are available in 3, 5, and 10, 15, 20, and 25 meter lengths. (Longer
custom lengths
available upon request)
The standard cables have a male/female DIN-5 connector on each end; shielded 26 AWG stranded
wires; ground terminated on each end through the
"common" ground pin on each connector.
Custom cables over 25m
are 24 AWG.
NOTE: This cable is specifically designed for
use with the KIWI-OSD and KIWI-GPS units and is not meant to be a
general purpose DIN extension cable. Use with other equipment is
not recommended.

How To Order
Click on one of the order links above and fill out the order request form.
Be sure to include
your name, a complete
shipping address, an e-mail address, and a day or nighttime phone number.
PFD Systems will calculate any appropriate taxes and shipping charges
and will then invoice you via email. Additional shipping information can
be found below.
You will not be invoiced until your order is ready to ship. This is
done to avoid holding customer moneys in the event that the order is
held up do to scheduling or back-orders.
Payment Methods
Note: Orders and payments are held until
the funds have cleared. The only exception is with companies or
educational institutes who are paying with company checks.
PayPal
If you request to pay via PayPal, then the invoice you receive is generated from PayPal
and it will be sent to the email address you provided on the order request
form. When you receive the email, payment can be made directly through PayPal
with credit or debit card (PayPal also accepts other forms of payment).
Credit Cards
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discovery cards. Because our website
is not yet secure, we do not request credit card information at the time
of the order. We will contact you when your order is ready and collect
your payment information then. Keep in mind that you can make your
purchase with PayPal without needing a PayPal account. PayPal is our
preferred method for payments.
Personal Checks
We only accept personal checks from U.S. banks.
Company Checks
Company checks are accepted as payment only when the order was
accompanied by a Purchase Order. Foreign company checks are accepted but
are subject to a $30 USD fee.
Money Orders/Certified Checks
Certified check, or money orders can be sent to the address
below. Moneys drawn against non-U.S. banks are subject to a $30 USD fee.
Wire Transfers
We now accept wire transfers but they are
subject to a $20 USD fee and the customer is responsible for all fees
originating from the sending bank(s).

Taxes
Taxes are only collected on orders shipped to a Maryland address. The
tax rate is 5%.
Shipping and Handling
PFD Systems uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) for its shipping
needs, whenever possible. Shipments to the United States are shipped USPS
Priority Mail and shipments to overseas addresses use Express Mail or
Priority Mail International (required for shipments over 4lbs).
All items are shipped with insurance and delivery confirmation for
domestic orders.
Shipping and handling fees are calculated based on the items
purchased and the shipping weight. We try to minimize your shipping costs whenever possible but
we only send orders airmail and never economy.
Special Information
Domestic Customers: Hawaii and Alaska are included.
International Customers: If you are considering making a bulk purchase of
KIWI-OSD products, please research your countries customs requirements so
that we can send your order to minimize any taxes and fees. It may be
more cost effective to split up the order to avoid custom taxes since
shipping charges are sometimes cheaper than customs charges.

- $15 USD for USA (includes HI and AK)
International Shipping
- Rates start around $35 USD for Priority
Mail International (4-10 business days) and $45 USD for Express Mail
International (3-5 business days).
Prices includes insurance where available.
Confirmation receipt included for USA domestic orders.
